Flip Critts Shoes honest review by a six-year-old child

Flip Critts

Flip Critts

Hi friends! We recently received two pairs of Flip Critts shoes in exchange for an honest review. Flip Critts are “flips,” not really a shoe, not really a flip-flop, and not really a sandal, but a mix of the three! What’s most impressive about Flip Critts is how they were created by an eleven-year-old entrepreneur, Carter Waugh, when he was just eight years old. Portions of sales of Flip Critts will to a charitable cause (Artful Learning Programs).

Flip Critts are customizable in terms of color and the cut-out critter shapes. There are 204 color and critter cut-out combinations. Kid’s sizing starts at 1, and Flip Critts are available for adults as well. They are water-resistant, biodegradable, UV-resistant and stress and crack resistant shoes. They are also carbon neutral shoes.

Our six-year-old, Phil, really loves how comfortable the Vibram outsole is. The midsole is made from SweetFoam (plant-based) and the insole is made with memory foam. Flip Critts are easy to slip on and stay on well. He also enjoyed seeing all the color options. While he rocks purple, it’s not one of his favorite colors.

Phil loves how easy it is to wear his Flip Critts. He can’t help but compare them to his multiple pairs of Crocs, which are normally his shoes of choice since he hates wearing socks. In terms of comfort, the bottom of Phil’s feet seem very comfortable when he’s wearing Flip Critts. The soles are soft and cloud-like.

All in all, Flip Critts are fun and comfy shoes that can be worn indoors and outdoors. We highly recommend for you to check out Carter’s Flip Critts on Kickstarter!
