Autumn is here, and soon, Halloween and Thanksgiving will be too! I love going to the beach in the summertime and getting all tanned and crispy, but there's something magical about the cool autumn air, the colorful leaves, the pumpkin pies, and fun festivities to come! As a Chinese-American, I also celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, or as I more affectionately call it, the stuff your face full of Moon Cake holiday :)
Soon, October will be upon us. I have not gotten Phil or myself a costume. I don't think I'll take Phil trick-or-treating, as he doesn't eat candy (at all, he only eats the dark chocolate we have at home, and we don't consider that candy!) and he might get scared if there are dozens of people on the street wearing strange costumes.

Don't even get me started with that one family down the street who has 20 bloody zombie dummies on their lawn, each scarier than the next.
